What should I know about therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic?

  • If you are experiencing symptoms (fever, difficulty breathing, cough, etc.), please reschedule your therapy session or plan to meet via phone or through telehealth. 

  • Telehealth sessions are available. Insurance companies may pay for your therapy services via telehealth; if your insurance company does not pay for the session you will still be responsible for your fee.

  • Please wear a mask to your session and during your session while meeting in person. If you are unable to wear a mask then please speak with the clinician prior to your session. 

  • If you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 2 weeks, please inform your clinician prior to the appointment to consider whether a phone session or video session would be a better option.
